FoE ( Malta ) shows full support to bus lanes

FoE ( Malta ) commends the determined stance being taken by Roads Minister Jesmond Mugliett in respect to the newly introduced bus lanes.

Such measures should hopefully, in the long term, increase the number of public transport commuters. Reclaiming back our roads from cars and chaos will definitely not go down well with some, especially car dealers, who have no interest in seeing our public transportation system coming out of its dark ages. Yet the time has come to make some sense out of our chaotic transportation system until one day we could boast of an efficient and environmentally friendly transportation system that could compare well with those of other European countries.
