In line with FoEI's aims FoE, Malta believe that :

 

	All forms of life have a value;
	Human beings are an integral part of nature but as human life is more intelligent than other forms of life human, beings have a greater duty to protect nature;
	The concept of development must be redefined to recognise the importance of the natural environment in the continuing existence of life on earth;
	We must promote a greener political ideology;

We must build a society that works through participation rather than paternalism. Moviment ghall-Ambjent, Friends of the Earth (Malta) believe that this is best achieved by :

	Keeping the public informed on environmental problems;
	Using non-violent methods to educate the public
	Working alongside other NGO's for the common interest.
